Dr. Melo-Bicchi received his medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Relocating to the United States, he completed his residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey.
Selected for a prestigious fellowship, Dr. Melo-Bicchi moved to the University of Maryland Medical Center to further his studies in epilepsy and electroencephalograms (EEGs). Finally, he moved to Florida to study Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology at the University of Miami. He has remained ever since.
To best serve his patients, Dr. Melo-Bicchi is a member of the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and the American Board of Epilepsy. These memberships allow him to stay on the cutting-edge of neurologic advances.
